Until a couple of months ago this was a dream app to work and understand, now all the useful information has disappeared to be replaced by useless rubbish that helps in no way.

Gone up
3years ago I got 12-13 days for 20 euro as I live alone and at work or out a lot. Now I get 5-7 days and my habits not changed .😡😡😡

Useless
The app takes too long to register your balance, you’ve no idea if you’re in credit or not.
Too many times I’ve woken up to no power and emergency credit used.
Spending well over 60e a week too.

The most important indicator that we care is how much money we pay every day, every week and every month and their breakdowns. Please update the app and add these indicators to the tracking function.

Poor Customer Service
I received the letter of clearing the arrears which occurred as a part of prepay powers internal issues. But they have again reimposed it to me when contacted customer service even though it was there internal issues.

Over the last few days my meter say no data coming to the meter and the app stops updating what you’re using and how much you’ve spent particularly at night.

Kind of useless
It’s the same thing as the web browser version but using more of my phone storage space. The worst part is that it doesn’t give you trends on the usage of the electricity, that should be disclosed with us customers so we know what we are paying for.

Balance incorrect
So I’ve been with prepay for about 2 weeks. Very nice people to deal with but the app is not updating usage and differs from what the meter is saying. Changed from bord Gais energy but so far not much difference in terms of savings.

Many bugs in this app
This app have many bugs sometimes restore power button is not showing and you can’t restore your power even you topped up balance… I was left with no power for 1 day!!!! Couldn’t get through online support or phone…

Update needed
The company is great I’ve been with them 4 years , I have for the past few months been having issues with the app it doesn’t update the current balance whenever I top up and when I need to restore power it sometimes doesn’t show the option in the app, one time I topped up €10 and it showed €0.00 and then I topped up later on that day another €10 and it still didn’t show anything, only the next day it showed the balance.

The app hasn’t been working at all the past month or so, I have to top up via google and I can’t see my balance to know exactly how much I have in it. What’s the point in having an app if the bloody thing doesn’t work?? Seriously it’s a joke at this stage.

App notifications and Dont switch to them
Since topped up notifications labels are not going away.
Do not be fooled by the company name. It is said to be prepaid but you will be in for a year contract. They will give you free bonus credits to use and lure you in, which will vanish quickly along with your recharged money that is how their app algorithm works. They are in control of your electricity topup and not the consumers. They charge you a standard rate and increase the rate with no notifications. If you try to cancel or switch to other providers they would want you to pay all the bonus credit they have given to you. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID SWITCHING TO PREPAY POWER!!

Easy and handy
Love the new design. This app is very handy considering that I can simply top up within seconds by using this app. The only thing that appears not to work for me is the “spend” tab even though I’m a customer for several months already but other than that I’m very happy with it.

Getting prepaid power was the best decision we have ever made . We have not had to reduce our electricity usage we just top up each week. We find it cheaper than having a bill

Nightmare!
This app frequently refuses to work, leaving me no way to top up after a long day. Then because I couldn’t top up I have to listen to the alarm in the morning. As well as the app being a pain, the company is never accessible when the app stops working. It’s like they all go on strike together.

Rates and ESB meter readings
Price per unit seems to have soared in the last couple of weeks - randomly get a letter to say the ESB meter reading person cannot get access to the meter so I have to take a photo to send ( the meter is in an open courtyard with access at anytime in normal work hours) also the app does not give real time information - the graph on spend is terrible as it says a spike yet nobody is home at that time ?

Keeps crashing when I try to check usage
Pretty useless if that’s the case as far as the app goes it’s really good to use if it would work but so far I haven’t been able to keep it open for more then 15 seconds on the tracking pages thankfully it does let you top up!

Crap
The App is crap lately, was working fine until the update. It wont let me login most of the time it says error or no internet (I am connected to wifi so ya i do have internet!!!) Also if it does let me log in Error keeps popping up on the screen and it wont let me top up or view my usage because of this.. Seriously sort it out!!!

Useless App
None of what is advertised regarding the use of this app work & most of the time the app doesn’t work at all. USELESS & FRUSTRATING. Now I’m unable to log on to top up saying - the app has no internet connection? Eh hello. I’m on WIFI and I have connection and your app won’t let me sign in. Pre pay get your sh** to gether.

Avoid the app it’s bad
I have used this app for a number of months now and it is one of the worst. Does not transfer top ups reliably. I have to continually check everything. History is a disaster. Worst for me as I am partially disabled

Not impressed
Got the promised €50 credit. The guy who came to fit the meter didn’t disconnect the ESB prepay meter, which is counting down. If this thing starts squealing, I will not be a happy client. Also, 3-4 weeks after signing up, and just outside the cooling off period, it looks like their prices have just gone up. On the plus side, before the aforementioned , it did seem like a cheaper rate. I will be watching the meter with interest.

App keeps constantly crashing. Keeps logging me out and when you try to log back on it says no Internet while everything else is working on the phone....

Not impressed
Couldn’t register due to a technical fault,
Called the number to ask for advice on joining their online account service.
It was a simple fault to fix, but the guy kept me on the phone changing from one operator to another.
Spent approx 10 mins in the call for what should have been 1 min or so
Then charged over €3
Then found out they also charge €1.20 per day just for the PRIVILEGE of buying their electricity. So over €365 down before you turn on a lightbulb
