Error with booking
Unable to book any tickets online since 4 - 5 days. No Cinemas listed in App and not going into seat selection while clicking the show time button. Many friends are facing the same issue

Not working in Ireland
Doesn’t detect + show listings for the Dublin cinema, clearly you guys don’t care at all considering the amount of negative reviews saying as much over the past year. Poor form.

Half the time I try to book a movie the app gives an error and declines my payment. What’s the point if I can’t even book the films I want to watch?

No cinema detected for Dublin
There were no cinema detected for Dublin so the booking needs to be done in website. So basically, the app is useless if you’re not in UK.
I already sent a feedback but it’s still the same.

Hi, the app is not functioning in Ireland. I'm unable to purchase tickets from the app, and the ticket that I purchased online isn’t syncing either. I hope you can fix this soon.

19/01/2022 Latest version of the app released today (9.21.0) still hasn't fixed the Add to Apple Wallet issue! Description of the issue below from my earlier review several months ago. My previous 1-star review appears to have been removed so I'm posting the critical content again. Have downloaded the most recent version of the app (1.4.7), which is supposed to have a fix for the add to Apple Wallet issue. It doesn't. It's still not working! The add to Apple wallet link directs to Safari as expected but then nothing happens so you can't add your ticket to your wallet. Emailed Customer Service over a week ago and haven't received a reply. This has been broken for weeks. Fix it, please and test it properly before releasing an update!

Dublin’s cinema is not on the list
I can’t book my tickets on the app because Dublin’s cinema does not appear on the list. It used to appear but now it is gone. Very annoying having to go to my computer everytime I want to book tickets.

Worst than the website
App/ website not self explanatory; it’s overwhelming and over complicated to create an unlimited account. Had to sync the email, get an email to sync the card, get another email to confirm the account..
Too much for something that should be simple and straightforward.
I’m addition, cannot see the ticket booked by a friend and synchronised with my account; so no good with that feature either.

Does not sync to my web account
After the last update to sync cineworld unlimited account in the web version, now the app is tottaly useless as it does no properly sync at all. Does not even recognise my location and keeps showing me UK cinemas when I'm in Ireland. Now everytime i have to book a movie, i need to login in the web which is very incovenient! What is the use of this app then?

After latest update it is no longer possible to book in Ireland. Shows closest cinema as being someplace in Wales. App was buggy before but completely useless now

Irish users should not install this. Even if you select ireland as your location it still won’t show you Dublin as a book able location. So it’s completely useless. If you have an earlier version don’t update it.

Not very useful
It’s impossible to buy a ticket using the app. It doesn’t allow me to log in, after entering the email and password and finishing the captcha, the login button doesn’t work. It spins for a second then nothing.
Need to use chrome on my phone for tickets, the app is effectively useless

One of the reason y downloaded the app was bcuz It was daisies to just go to e ticket section n use in cinema
But sometimes the ticket just disappears then I have to go thru my emails for ticket

It’s just perfect !
Cineworld is one of my favourite things to do in my free time ( and this days is not than much of that) so is super easy to book your movies, go and relax for a few hours and enjoy your films during any day... delighted to be part of unlimited since 2014. Totally recommended.

Need improvement
Such a nice cinema but this app need some improvement. Really annoying have to log in every time smartphone is personal and this app shouldn’t log off every time your leave it.
Please make improvements as I’m an unlimited customer and I’m really tired of having to log in every single time to book my tickets.

Long winded!
Why can’t the app remember my login? And why does the booking/ticket not store in the app? There’s a section for it and yet it is never there. It annoying! Also, why does the app show movies that will not be shown in Dublin? This happens a lot, especially with one off showings. A movie will be in the ‘coming soon’ section but will not be shown in Dublin. Other cinema chains don’t have this problem with their apps. Maybe go have a look at those!

Needs Improvement
Auto login/Remember me option would be helpful. When booking a film by date, the titles would be better listed in alphabetical order. Also, if movie times only appeared once movie is selected as it looks cluttered. An ‘add to passbook/wallet’ option within app would also help.

You have to login almost every time you launch the app, and it’s tiring, sometimes we need to book things fast. And when you press “View Your E-Tickets”, they just don’t show up, even when you already bought one.

Love Cineworld and love my unlimited card but the app is seriously buggy and more complicated than it needs to be. It’s very annoying and totally unnecessary that we should have to log in EVERY TIME we open the app. Why can’t it just remember us? Also, once tickets are booked and paid for it should be one click to add to the iPhone passbook and calendar. Instead I have to close the app, open my email account, find the email, and then click on the passbook button there. Overly complicated and unnecessary again. Come on, Cineworld, get your act together!

Need to login every time I want to make a booking. The old app remembered so this is very time consuming. Also very hard to find info with the new layout, and nearly impossible to view trailers. Not intuitive at all.

Was going fine until until I put in the payment method in and then ‘connection lost’. Restarted from the beginning and still the same. Uninstalled and reinstalled app and STILL nothing. Still no tickets and I have no idea if the app has stored my card details or not. Not pleased at all!

Exasperated!
Lads what is going on? How have you developed a version that is a step backwards from the old app? That was at least functional. This is shocking. 1. Have to log in every time I book. 2. The book by time option assumes I want to go to cinema right at this very moment. Sure wouldn't I just go to box office? The need to book logically assumes advance no? 3. When in the film booking area can't see of the description of the film have to exit, arduously, to the home screen and find details there. And most trailer links aren't working right. It's so frustrating!

Bad as hell. Opportunity for competitors
The app is just a bad wrap of the web except it doesn't remember you. Slow. You don't get the passbook until you get the email. No Apple Pay. With the prices they charge a competitor just need to bring IMAX and a decent app and they send Cineworld out of business altogether.

Times are all over the place and it looks like different movies are in the one imax screen they have at the same time. Avoid the app until they fix it.

Not user friendly
Very bad update. No option to see titles, posters and times on the same page. No option to click on the title to see the film description which is the biggest flaw. Instead have to go back to home screen and look for the film again. Not only Cineworld website is horrible and not user friendly but now even the app is bad! :(

I can't select the laster seats
Unfortunately this app doesn't work so well than oldest version. I couldn't find the last line of the seats. Exemple letter L or M, because the seats was limited. I saw the same App in Google Play works very well. Please, can you fix the bug?
