Issue with connection to Hyundai
I am having issues with the connection to my car - it works some days and not others which is very inconvenient and means some days I don’t have enough charge in the mornings.

Pretty Poor performance and App
7 months in, nothing but problems. Constantly having to reset, telling me the car is not charging properly, stopping charge before accepted capacity (and it’s set to charge to 100%).. often stopping at (what we know), is ~70% of capacity and the display would show current charge at 22% or similar.
Poor App. Poor support, the units display and £ and we are in € zone, contacted support number of times and no reply…

Awful support! Think twice…
I would think twice before going for an Ohme charger. The app continuously fails to log into the VW app saying to check credentials. The credentials are correct!
The first couple of times I contacted Ohme support they were relatively quick and helpful, as soon as this issue appeared I received a workaround that did not work. When I responded to say it didn’t work, no response. Emailed again to ask for help because we have the same issue…no response. Opened a new ticket in case the email responses were no longer monitored…no response. Emailed a final time…no response. They literally ignore the issues and help requests. Genuinely the worst support I’ve encountered.
We found our own workaround, but it is not using the full functionality of the Ohme charger because we can no longer use the variable charging rate based on our electricity rates.
There has got to be a better option than Ohme!

Not as smart, green or cheap as marketing says it is
It doesn’t do any of the smart meter costing in Ireland so forget that. There goes the smart and green bit.
It used to but no longer supports Kia integration where, for example, charge your car to 80%. It dumbly charges to 100% now unless you manually work out the time to charge. I’ve been promised this will be fixed for many months now but nothing. General advice is charging to 100% unless driving right away is a bad idea so I’m possibly damaging my car now. This was the #1 reason I chose it.
If you have a supported car it will be a better experience, but how long will they support it?
So it’s a hobbled smart charger and if these guys go bust it will be a broken charger.

My home charger
While I am very happy with my home charger and I have had it now for 3 months it would be nice if a rep from the company could come and show me exactly how it works rather than an email message, after all I chose OHmE over others and I DID ask before could someone call out but got no reply.

A simple on /off would be nice
Charges fine, it’s tidy and the customer service is very good - responsive and friendly….but I wish I could just have a simple remote ‘On /Off Switch’ on my app instead of or as well as all the scheduling and tariff intelligence.
I want to plug it on at night and turn it whenever I feel like it but that’s just not possible.

Needs an update. Not charging as per phone options
