Great start
I have started on Spanish and Japanese. Both of which I have been doing on the free version of Duolingo. So far on Teuida I am enjoying the emphasis on speaking, as that is how I want to be able to use my Spanish and Japanese. Feels more educational while the owl is just gamified with more emphasis on streaks than learning.

It’s honestly an amazing app, good learning techniques and quality. And the vast variety of topics you learn for every day conversation.
One thing is the ai that checks your speech, it will take your speech wrong and for me the thing is simply just not working but it’s only little.

Good but a lot of bugs
It’s a great app when it works, but I found often that it would simply not hear me when I’m trying to complete the exercise, I would end up having to wait till it times out so I can continue the lesson. I ended up not advancing very much recently, I just did the same lesson every day to keep my streak

I USED to love this app…
I used to love this app until I began facing technical issues. I got off the app for a month or two and came back recently, but the microphone won’t work at all. I tried to update it, but it will not work and I am using the latest iOS so must be a problem with the app. Please fix it. The concept of this app is very nice.

The glitch
This app is amazing and it’s helping me learn, but the microphone keeps glitching from time to time and it’s making me lose my streak (this is the second time this has happened), and I’ve reached out, just to receive no response on having my streak restored.

I love this app because you get right into it. Every time you open the app and start a lesson it feels like there is a real teacher right in front of me. The only reason that I don’t give it five stars is because I think that it would be better if you get more lessons for the alphabet too.
