The app is getting worse and worse
I’m disappointed with the developers of this app.When I first heard of this app,it used to be fun and you used to be able to edit without paying for anything except a few effects here and there but between last year and this year,the developers became so money hungry that everything is now pro,smooth slow mo,all filters,colour correction and it’s not fair,I would like to know who’s idea it was to make everything pro just to get money,CapCut is losing its users and it’s losing me because I’m thinking of moving to another editing app like Funimate but then again it’s kinda similar.I do not like CapCut anymore because of everything being pro

silently changed their subscription model and prices, took features previously available for a roughly €9 charge and upped it to €30 a month, don’t wanna pay that much? that’s fine you can get less features than you previously could for 9 for guess what? €15 a month!!

I am appalled at the greed of the people behind this app. This app was accessible, useful and very easy to understand. However, every, and i mean EVERY thing requires pro now. Filters, effects, audio, removing backgrounds etc, all require the pro membership. Even exporting your clip in 1080p requires pro. I praised this app to everyone as it was accessible to me and allowed me to pursue a love of editing without needing to spend money but now I will be deleting it and telling everyone I know not to bother using it. I’m deeply disappointed that this company decided to follow a pathway of corporate greed over audience satisfaction.

I am a long time editor of this app and loved it, as it was simple to use and reliable with nothing off limits. Now, everything is pro, you even have to pay for “standard” CapCut, like what?? That makes no sense, even old effects have pro on it now, ones I used to use every time. Everything that is necessary to editing is pro, even SMOOTH SLOW MO!! Absolutely money hungry changes I tell you… it’s so disappointing to see such a once good app become garbage.. I would no longer recommend this app for anyone who wants to edit because you’re not gonna get anything good without paying for pro..

Ive been using capcut for about 4 years, always stuck to it because its an easy app and it makes good edit, when pro came i wasnt that upset because i carried on and used capcut with out pro, then they made all the effects pro and everything pro, so, i bought it. I have been buying pro since November and during april i took a break from making edits. I then came back yesterday to buy pro again, i see they added another pro for €30, when you buy pro you don’t even get everything anymore, i can’t smooth slow mo videos now? Ridiculous. I will be changing apps. Capcut its money hungry and was way better before. 😡

SUBSCRIPTION PROBLEM COST
I had CapCut since I created my TikTok account, so over 4 years .. I might be wrong but CapCut did not have any subscription plans .it was free . Then pro came I upgraded because there was actually great features and it helped my editing. It was only less than €10 ($11.30) it was worth the price, then the prices increased and few things were added €10.99 ($12.51) I didn’t mind the increase but it was just annoying. Then out of nowhere. Last week it was 8.99 (I think) it was so cheap so I wondered why I checked nothing .. but then I realised they now have a standard then a pro .. the standard is the same as CapCut free same as few years ago , and CapCut pro is now what I have been paying normally for. For example , if you have standard and want to convert you edit to 2k/4k YOU CANT ANYMORE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PRO . There was never a standard ..pro was standard and standard was free . Pro is €14.99 . This saddens me because I loved CapCut since day one and I might have to change because for that price you can use a better one . CapCut was good because it was free and the pro was worth . I used to do things that was free that are now standard ..

CapCut pro is INSANE
Look I’ve always relied on this app for everything, it was so useful and I loved it throughout so many years but with all these insane CapCut pro updates the app is actually unusable. I can’t import music anymore which is one of the most important things I use the app for, I’ve gotten used to the incredibly limited effects but the exports are insane. It said I have 3 exports left before I can only export in bad quality?? I’m sorry im just so upset I always relied on this app and now I have to find a new alternative :( I hope it goes back to normal soon because CapCut pro is way to expensive to buy for me, a 16 year old.

Bad customer service and communication
The issue has not been solved: I subscribed to the annual subscription with the offer in euro, but after it activated (because it is active) I can only see prices in Brazilian reais and therefore I can’t use the pro features, although I live in Europe.
I’ve talked with Apple experts who checked all settings and the issue is not with my Apple account or phone but with CapCut.
After sending proof of everything, CapCut still hasn’t come up with a valid solution. The opposite, they’ve replied a couple of times with automatic replies stating that the issue had been solved (not true) and saying the issue is with my Apple Store. Bad customer service and communication.

I used to have so much fun on capcut, editing was a hobby of mine. It wasn’t something I had the ability to spend money on and that’s why CapCut was so great. I’ve been trying to revisit my old hobby as I’ve found interest in it again, only to find the app near impossible to use now, watermarks and pro plastered on everything. I can’t even export a video with a resolution over 720p! I only discovered this after spending hours making something on the app! Very disappointed. Capcut was the only editing app I ever learned to use, I don’t know what other app to use. Their greed is going to drive away countless of customers. So frustrated.

It’s me so that you can post videos on TikTok easier but it’s really hard to sign up for and it’s just a lot of work to make those videos but it’s really easy to comment and there is some strange things that people post why you were scrolling on CapCut I hope this helps but my honest opinion is you would probably stop using it at one point and forget about it. Only good if you have pro
I used CapCut for around two years and I loved it, absolutely everything worked flawless and was easy to use and perfect for beginners. Then, more updates came in making certain things only available for pro, which most apps were already like so it was grand, but now you basically need pro to even open the app. I am not in the position to buy or want to buy pro for an editing app I barely use anymore, but it’s so disappointing that such a good app lost so many users because of this. I know apps need money too but come on now!

Literally everyone on tik tok and every platform have been complaining and saying everything is pro, which is true. Every single effect and all the rest are pro.. SLOW MOTION is pro which is INSANE. Everyone including me has been moving on to a different editing app because literally everything I use has became PRO. Capcut needs to stop making everything pro!
At first it was okay, but now it has gone too far. Almost every feature is pro and I am sick of it. And on top of that, you also add a watermark. I cannot afford pro and Capcut is the only editing app I am able to use. What happened to the “free” in this editing app? CapCut used to be an amazing editing app, simple, user-friendly, and efficient. Editing was intuitive, and the app rarely lagged on my device. However, ever since the introduction of the "Pro" subscription and templates, the experience has taken a significant turn for the worse.

I loved capcut and it was a great editing app but it’s starting to slowly take effects and make them pro and basically, almost all the effects are pro now. I thought it was a free editing app? Honestly they could’ve just added new pro effects instead of taking effects that weren’t pro and making them pro again. Some people can’t afford to buy pro, and honestly I don’t think pro is that bad of an idea it’s just if you would have left it at making new pro effects instead of making already existing effects pro. With limited effects it’s hard for editors to edit videos.

money hungry app
i miss the time when i downloaded CapCut and told myself “this is the best video editing app i’ve ever downloaded” but look at where we are now…pro this, pro that, pro whatever. i am sick of it.. if you’re THIS money hungry, maybe implement ads into your apps so then not only that we will have to watch an ad or 2 for the sake of using a pro feature (yes, that includes the watermark) but you’ll get money that way rather then putting out pop ups begging us to buy CapCut Pro. because most of us who uses the app are people who just wanted to make videos for fun (and it’s not like most of us are professional who makes a living from it) and we would be damned to see an app once called “free editing app” turns into this behemoth. OR maybe make CapCut and CapCut Pro a separate app, one is free, the other is paid. if your app failed because of “criticism” or “lacks of incomes” i wouldn’t be surprised.

Destroying their user’s trust
I have been a CapCut user for YEARS, and when they recently began showing ads, I didn’t mind as I know they need to make money, however when they began making many once-free options paid, I became a little annoyed. Then, they added a watermark to videos, which you now have to pay a monthly fee to remove. This is an absolute disgrace and is not in line in any way with what made CapCut the most popular video editor in the first place, they have ruined their platform to a degree where it is now exactly like most others, with nothing about it that stands out.

Good but there’s one thing that has made me switch to a new editing app, and that’s because of the watermark. I post videos on my socials and I use a hashtag CapCut on all of the videos. So I promise that you were getting enough credit and if you want me to put in more credit, I certainly can. But this is the reason that I have changed to another editing app, so please fix this and I will definitely come back to CapCut, thanks!

STOP MAKING EVERYTHING PRO!!
I thought CapCut was supposed to be the best FREE editing app since what 2018? 2020? Not sure but it was originally known as “free”!!! Not pro!! Every other editing app we have to pay for the smallest things and CapCut was everybody’s last hope to make decent looking edits. You’d get a lot more audience if u make less things pro and make it like it used to be. In 2025 it’s soon gonna be Pro just to MAKE a new edit! Please listen to ur fans and stop making everything pro!!!!

Good but some errors
It’s a great editing app and I’m just a beginner and I can tell it’s really good already it’s just whenever I try to use certain effects like fonts and stuff like that it says no internet connection reconnect and try again when I have checked multiple times that I have internet and it still gives me the error so devs if you could give me an answer for this that would be great but other than that it’s a great app

CapCut should be used bye everyone
CapCut is insanely good. Our family goes on holidays with other families a good bit and one of the things our families look forward to is filming the CapCut. When I am bored I ask my sisters to make a CapCut with me and they always say yes which makes me so happy. I love the fact that you can start making mini movies at my age and only because I have CapCut on my iPad. And so far I have only been talking about my edits but there are also these templates that you can use to make cool photograph reels for your friends. CapCut should be used bye everyone.

Auto background removal
I used to use this feature all the time when I was making videos and it help a ton, but now for some awful reason they decided to make it a pro feature, which greatly limits what I am able to do within the app. I do not have space for a green screen, and chroma key does not work on the background of my room. I feel that this should not be a pro feature, and other than this, the app is amazing, but now it is near unusable for me. Please change this.

Offline?!
I’ve been using CapCut for years now and been relying on it to create content for my channels but I’ve gone inactive due to exams and now when I return back to it, it says I’m offline when I’m clearly connected to the internet. I’ve tried to reinstall the application - hoping it’d fix my issue but it isn’t going away. I can’t even use the support menu in the app to send evidence based on my bugs and overall, it’s really frustrating. Please fix this! But overall, I enjoyed using the app while it lasted, one of the best editing softwares and really easy to use.

Great editor
I am using Capcut Desktop more often for my projects instead of Da Vinci resolve. It's got a great set of features, like LUTs, filters, effects, transitions. It can export in multiple formats.
It's really very good and everything that is premium on the mobile version is included in the desktop app. Enjoy it while you can! I am sure they will eventually charge a fee for usage.
The only drawback is a lack of audio transitions and some problems

It’s pretty good.
I would give CapCut a 5/5 since the layout and editing icons are perfect as it also has many features but what I really hate is the effects because some of the effects needs CapCut pro (which is annoying to some people.) besides the great features, CapCut also has templates which are really great and I love it especially!

For beginners, CapCut is amazing. It’s very easy to use but even if your having some difficulties/problems using it, you can always go to CapCut support, or look up tutorials. Many wide ranges of effects, filters, texts and much more. I really recommend CapCut for all users out there trying be a better editor in general. Video editing, photo editing, it’s all your choice. It’s the best mobile software out there, such good quality. Super easy to use as I said, so try it now. It’s free.

Satisfied
Very good app for editing, especially if you’re only a beginner at editing. But even if you have edited before, it is still a very good app. The app is made to relieve you of the confusion of complex editing and is instead made to be very simple and yet effective. The app offers a both free and paid version and of course this means that the paid version has more features, but the free version is still very good. The only issue I would have is the difference between the paid and free animations, the paid version having much better animations while the free version’s animations aren’t as good and very basic at that. However I am very happy with everything else. I recommend everybody to start with the free version and only buy the paid version if you plan on taking editing seriously.

Very good
I really like this, it’s one of the best editing apps but my daughter was quite upset because you have to pay for pro features. I got this for my daughter when she was 12 she turned 13 this year and wants to go further with her edits but she can’t because I refuse to pay money for a small amount of extra tools! Could you not just make them free?
Other then that my daughter really loves this app would recommend!

CapCut is honestly one of the best editing app I’ve been using it since 2020 It’s so easy to use once you get the hang of it if I was going to complain about it one thing I would say is it’s really annoying when Some of the stuff doesn’t work like Motion blur or the reverse Thing especially when you are so close to finishing the edit I wish yous would send a notification or put it on your socials lol But overall it’s one of the best editing apps!

Really good for editing
It’s a good editing tool but some thing I’m not happy about is that you have to pay to get some things but it has many features and templates another thing I’m not happy about is that it doesn’t have very many songs for the videos and if you search up a song it says can’t find what you are looking for every time you search up a song even if it’s a real song but without the to bad things it’s great for editing and even if you don’t want to edit there are templates 😁 ilove this app and recommend it .

The best out there
I'm used to working with Premiere Pro on Macbook and found CapCut to be a solid replacement when using the phone. Now CapCut is my main video editor on the Macbook too. The features are advanced and plentiful but navigating the app is easy and intuitive. There's everything you need to tweak a video to your take on perfection. What I appreciate most is that unlike the majority of similar apps it's not geared toward the insta-obsessed crowd so rather than stupid stickers, retouching and resculpting to death there's just quality editing features. 5 stars from me no doubt.

Great app
I really love capcut because it’s very easy to use and the effects and transitions are pleasing. My only problem is that capcut has a paid version. It used to be a nice free editing app but now you have to pay to use certain effects. And the paid effects are very nice. I know you might’ve need money but this new feature kind of annoyed me. But the free effects aren’t that bad. Other than that, I really love capcut and I would like to continue to use it.

Perfect!
This is one of my favorite editing apps, it’s really useful to do masking, editing, etc and the text is really good, songs are perfect, and the best thing in my opinion is that you can tween! If you don’t know what tween means it’s like making an animation from a game where you can’t move like gacha club it will make the character move when you make it tween. Best Editing Software
Easy to Use simple layout so as not scare off newcomers and good quality but I feel Capcut pro is very overpriced and I would consider buying it if they added an ai video upscale to it potentially. Only complaints are that when you erase something using chroma key it does it automatically giving you the wrong cut out and keeps doing that and when your using a lot of effects text and overlays it can’t even play the video so you just have to trust that the effects, text, overlays and sound is in time with the video other than that great app five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love it so much it’s so easy to use and easy to learn! I have had CapCut for I like 2-3 yrs now and it’s so easy I make yt shorts on it and it’s so handy if I am really busy so then I can just the a template!Which I think is a great thing you guys added!💗My only problem is that when you go into camera it won’t let me film it so I can’t flip my camera and it’s very annoying I have tried a load of things like reseting my iPad,getting rid of taps and lots more so pls fix this!🤍

Personally I love CapCut even though it is not a really sophisticated app though it has so many cool things that allot of other apps do not have such as no watermarks on videos which is super helpful and it is all free which is amazing with so many effects some of them don’t exactly have the most amazing effect but some of them are amazing and all the animations are perfect!
It also has a really easy layout to understand with everything at the bottom of the screen
It is also really nice to use if you just want to add a quick text on to a video or photo
That concludes this review. I really recommend it 🥰

ITS SO GOOD!!!
Capcut is the easiest and best editing app i’ve EVER used!! It has everything, shakes, flashes, effects, colourings, and a bunch of hacks. Every time i want to edit anything i open capcut, it can even change ur body, face shape, hips and everything! And it is by far the easiest editing app out there, it gets updates around once a month as a bonus. You can do green screens and all, i 100% recommend it!!

Lack of respect for expatriates
I do not normally write negative reviews, but this is too much. When trying to open the Cap Cut tutorial from Internet (it is NOT stored off line) it shows it in Portuguese, probably because I happen to be now physically located in Brazil. When trying to register with Cap Cut, the Terms and Conditions are ALSO in Portuguese. That is a clear lack of respect for expatriates, which could be easily corrected simply by providing hyper links to the corresponding documents in various languages (I am sure that documents in English exist for Cap Cut). In consequence I am not providing a technical review of how Cap Cut may or may not work, I have gone as far as trying to begin working with Cap Cut but I have encountered the problem of language, due to some idiot who has not even thought of expatriates. It may be a good executable, let us give one star just for the benefit of the doubt, but the marketing team of Cap Cut is a bunch of ignorants. Uninstalled.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
CapCut is by far the best editing app I have ever used. I absolutely love it’s simple layout which is very easy to understand but allows for powerful editing. Something that CapCut has that many other editing apps don’t, is that it leaves no watermark on the videos you make which is absolutely incredible and useful for content creators such as myself. I’ve been using CapCut for years and I absolutely love that it still gets updated regularly to this day with new features such as new fonts, animations, etc. I could write a whole essay as to why I love this app. I hugely recommend it to anyone who wants something to make amazing videos, fast and easy.
One thing that I do want to point out is that when you want to duplicate an image/video, the toolbar scrolls back to the start which is a bit of a pain if you want to duplicate something a few times. Honestly this is just a small issue that would be cool if it got fixed but doesn’t change my opinion about the app. I love it and I can’t recommend it enough!

Just one problem
I only have one problem and I don’t know if this is with anyone else or it’s just my phone but when I import a photo once and I try to do it again it says that I have no photos to import, and this is fixable by just closing CapCut fully and then opening it again however you can probably see how this can get very annoying, if this is something with CapCut and not my phone I would appreciate it being fixed
Other than that this is an amazing editing app that makes everything so simple, I really love it!

Amazing but-
So pretty much i luv to use capcut (what im about to say barely happens btw) but so today i made this edit im really proud of an when i cut the clip it went really laggy and i dont really know what to do cus i had done velocity and all so if i added the og clip i edited it sill wouldn’t match up so ye thats why i gave you 4 stars but i know there’s probably not but if theres any possible way you would recommend fixing it thank you so much!

Amazing but-
I think this app is really good for editing but i would love to see more motion effects in the future. One effect i really need for most of my edits is “Motion blur”. I’m not able to find any free editing apps that will work and allow me to use them. Also other features like being able to slide your finger on your phone for whatever way you want the camera to go- like camera shake but you make it yourself. And just some better effects and improvements in general.

Great but just one issue
I absoloutely love capcut but using a 2nd generation ipad it is never full screen meaning i always have to use a different editing app and create a video and come baxk here for transitions where i can scroll in or it will be ok by itself i just wish that i could edit on capcut on it’s own maybe it’s because it was screenshots or the app i used (gacha life) but i really wished it would be full screen so i wouldn’t have to do anything.

Pretty good but one issue
Okay so I have one issue that randomly happens and I don’t know if it’s my Internet or not but what commonly happens is I can’t import a photo for the rest of the day until tomorrow this might be a Wi-Fi issue but if not please fix this and I would also likeA folder with all your deleted stuff just to doublecheck you want to delete it because there’s been times where I’ve accidentally something and I didn’t want to delete it but overall a very good app for beginners
