Wow I’m surprised to see the reviews on here saying it doesn’t work for some people! So far it working perfect for me had no issues even with the apple software update!

Dexcom Account Sign-in
This app is unusable on an Iphone XS. Getting caught for hours in a loop trying to enter credentials, failing and having to reset everything on my macbook. Utterly useless and unbelievable that this associated with am FDA authorised CGM…

My personal review
The idea of monitoring my sugars I great . I likeed the app and sensor is small and handy . But two out of three sensors failed. But the one that didn’t worked perfectly fine for ten days . I hope the next sensors I’ll get will work well )

Loosing signal

I really like the widget that allows to me monitor my bloods from the home screen. Can you please add a widget for Lock Screen and standby so that you can monitor glucose without the need to open the dexcom app. This should not be a major overhaul.
The iPhone 15 will be released tomorrow 22/09.
Can we please finish the iPhone 14 support so that we no longer have a warning on the opening page that say it is not supported.
The iPhone 14 has now been out a full year. I think it’s time to complete the development and support for iPhone 14

THIS PRODUCT IS A DISGRACE
I’ve recently been moved to the g7. The app wasn’t working so I rebooted the app but because I am abroad I can’t reinstall the app so will be without a CGM for the next few weeks even though I have sensors. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. We’ve tried everything but have been told by product support that there’s nothing they can do about it. Would not recommend to anyone. There should be a warning before you delete the app.

Malfunction
The app keeps breaking, 4 days since I put on a new sensor and it breaks.

Terrible
When I first got it, it worked great until the next month when both of my sensors failed after 2-3 days. I have had to call the Dexcom company and while they gave advice it was clear I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Fast forward to a few weeks again I have had 5 sensors which they all failed. I’m following all the rules to the g7 but every time it ends in failure. If you manage to get to the 10 day mark, count yourself lucky.

Locked to location
Please fix this geo location requirement ASAP. It is dangerous for diabetics not to be able to log into the app simply because they are abroad.

Useless
Worked fine for about a month. Then 2 sensors worked for about a day now 2 new sensors won’t even connect and I’ve tried on 2 different iPhones
Useless is a compliment for these sensors.

Geo locked !
I can somewhat understand the need to limit where that app can be downloaded and installed from. but those are built into the App Store. What Dexcom have done here, means you cannot go to abroad on holidays and change your sensor. What sort of idiotic restriction is this to have on an app for a device to empower diabetic - not limit their movements!

Efficacy 20% really annoying
On my 5th sensor. The first one was brilliant . The following 4 all connected and then failed message. An efficacy of 20%. Great marketing and a product that doesn’t come close to whats promised. Very disappointing.

App keeps logging out
The App worked fine for the first sensor use. However, once linked with the Dexcom Clarity app to data drill and make use of the data, the Dexcom G7 app keeps logging itself out. While you can log back in, it is an annoyance. This is the first time I’m using a CGM so can’t comment on comparison to other devices or platforms.

Looses connection
Looses connection frequently even if phone in pocket, could be iPhone settings but have tested all options. Needs to be calibrated every couple of days, can vary from .1 up to 1.0 from finger test. Would be nice to see a database of food carbs to select from the events. I haven’t experienced issue of sensor falling off. Secured in place for the 10 days.

Widget Option Gone
Updated the app today and now I no longer have a widget on my Home Screen. This was so useful when checking readings quickly. Please fix asap!
Otherwise I quite like the app. Have been using it for a number of weeks now.

Temperamental
The G7 sensor itself has not lived up to expectations. It is flimsy and comes off a lot easier than other brand sensors.
The app is ok - however it looses signal with the sensor quite often and can take up to 30 minutes for signal to return. This happens even when the phone is in my pocket and the sensor on my arm!

Widget support removed
Dexcom have removed the ability to have a g7 widget in the iPhone Home Screen - this is a real source of UX fiction for me
Reasoning is that the widget overview wasn’t being updated by the app due to os limitations - apparently there are discussions between Dexcom and Apple…

Faulty
Got Dexcom 7 thinking it will be a upgrade from dexcom 6 turns out it’s reads my levels way to high then what they acc are , this need to be fixed

Unfit for purpose
5 of my first 7 G7 sensors have had an error failure resulting in not being able to continue to use them. Another one came off when showering but that happens with other sensors too. If it hadn’t it probably would have had the same error as the other 5. Judging by the other 2 reviews (both 1 star) others are experiencing the same. Awful product and pretty irresponsible to have such a faulty medical product which has left me without readings for long periods when I don’t have a spare on my person.
