DuckDuckGo is better
It’s OK, but DuckDuckGo is miles better, with more privacy than ingocnito mode, blocking sites from getting your data, (you can also see which ones tried to get access) and cool features like “burning” all your data on the app so it’s like you just installed it. You don’t even need an account, you can just start searching instantly! And no, I have not been paid to write this, nor do I work for DuckDuckGo. It’s just the better app overall.

Also I find v Safari I now have a million tabs open. Everything I do opens a new tab. But main problem is having to reach my thumb up to the top of the phone to search anything. Laborious! Use Safari and see how much easier that is. Password syncing is good though.

Updates and deletes everything while i work in app
As it says, it closed down the app while i was being on it, updated it and lost everything! Now i cant get things back, where is the support button when i need it i am beyond mad and upset this app has no manners

Deleted all tabs
I am absolutely outraged with chrome. I once deleted all my tabs by accident and I couldn’t get them back but I sealed with it but now I open chrome and the two hundred tabs that I remembered out of the four hundred are ALL GONE AGAIN like come on I didn’t even do anything this time. It’s not that hard to have a function to restore all tabs after 24hrs but this is just poor design now I have to spend days restoring my tabs and only for them to be gone again. I know people have had the same problem so chrome please fix this huge bug.

Missing one key feature
Recently started using chrome over safari, as safari simply was not cutting it anymore with loading times and timing out entirely.
The one feature I’m missing is the address bar being at the bottom of the screen. If there could at least be an option to enable/disable the address bar at the bottom of the screen, then it would be perfect for my personal use.

Layout Bug in recent version
Steps to reproduce:
1. Search anything
2. When Google search results page loaded rotate phone to landscape mode
3. Rotate phone to portrait mode
4. Observe that the page width calculated incorrectly and all website became narrow with a gap on the right.
Reloading page does not fix the issue. Now I have to close tab and open website again.
Rotating to landscape and to portrait mode again does not fix the issue.
Works on any website. Used search results page just to demonstrate the bug.
Please inform when it will be fixed

Bad for battery life
Battery drain while using chrome is 3 times more versus other apps compared. I like it but it is time for alternative. Google does not listen.

The new look for the browser is just awful..... I have tried to get used to the new browser but am now trying to use Firefox instead. I don't know who came up with this new UI but they should be shot for it.

Poor New Layout :/
Disappointed at the new UI. The older version had less strain on my eyes when scrolling through pages as it had more color and bigger fonts. Feels like a 3rd Party app and the google results on my searches don’t seem to be in order of most relevance to me like before. “Fixing what ain’t broken” is a paramount description of this update unfortunately.

Crashing since latest upgrade
Constantly crashing since latest upgrade. When I start typing my search criteria into the address bar it black screens and crashes. Really disappointing as it’s my go to browser, needs to be fixed urgently!

New Layout is Dreadful!
I rarely ever update apps because more often than not, something is changed and it makes the app much worse, in my opinion.
Having not updated Chrome in around 5 months, today I was hit by their entirely new interface. Its clunky and horrible to use. All buttons moved from top of screen to button. No options swap them back. No options to return to previous UI. No option to downgrade back to older software update.
Please make an option to use the older UI again as this new one is horrible.

Why oh why did I update?! Now I have to swap to Safari. Your new chrome is clunky and ugly, buttons are all in the wrong place and it’s so hard to see for smaller phone users (iPhone se). You should let people have the option of using the older version. It looks so old and like it was designed decades ago. Back to the drawing board guys.
