I can’t understand how nothing has changed when I look back at 7 years of bad reviews! Now they’ve added Face ID, which is basically a quicker way of hitting a dead end?

Actual trash - lazy app, just use the web browser
This app is a typical web view loader app that adds next to nothing than the also badly designed and hardly maintained website. Fidelity, invest in your own technology stack and make a better app or just remove this crap from the store. It’s pointless, it doesn’t load up, and it likes to crash at random.
A clear sign that Fidelity isn’t a modern forward looking company with technology in mind but a company from a time long past. Useless

A clunky, unreliable UX mess
App only works 50% of the time. Needs to be force closed and relaunched sometimes. The UX of the app is dreadful. There is no logic to the information hierarchy or navigation. I have only figured out how to use it by trial and error over a three year period.

Worst app I’ve ever used
Safe to say this is the worst most unstable app I ever used so much so I just had to come on and leave a bad review. This isn’t ready for the AppStore in 2023 go back and fix your app and give your clients the experience they deserve. Seem less effortless and easy.

Very disappointed
The app just presents a webview of its website. THEY DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO MAKE A PROPER APP FOR THE CUSTOMERS.

The app basically repeats the web view with no added benefits. The view is not adopted we’ll for mobile devices and navigation is awful too.

Cheap attempt to sell web page render under the name of “mobile app”
You would expect a world class app from financial firm that has all your money at disposal. Instead they just show you ordinary webpage instead.
Even screenshots are fake.

Horrible UX for corporate users
Absolutely horrible UX - a web app embedded in the mobile app shell - rendering not even resizing web components as it should. Navigation became almost unusable…

Web App vibe (see suggestions )
I believe most critiques relate to users that do not have a personal account, but an ESPP account provided by their employer through Fidelity.
The dark mode ends after the splash screen for those users and the shown screenshots do really not represent what the app looks like for those users.
Fidelity sits on a huge pot of money and gets fees from their enterprise customers for employee accounts. It would be appreciated if some of the money could be put to use to improve the user experience for those corporate customer employees.
Here is what I would expect from the app:
- a mobile first native app experience instead of a mobile website container view. There are free hybrid development solutions: react native + Fluent UI Framework.
- native mobile experience for employee stock purchase program (ESPP) users
- push notifications when new stock purchases have landed in your account.
- MFA/2FA via Authenticator Apps, Yubikey, etc.

As others noted just a frame of the mobile site. No MFA available for non US customers don't waste space installing this just use your browser

Don’t believe the screenshots
As noted in a previous review, the screenshots have nothing at all to do with this app. It’s simply a frame to access the web pages. The only thing I do like is the fingerprint login.

How not to make an app
Can someone invent negative stars. Cos this is where I put it. Absolute rubbish. Programmer should be ashamed. Works fine upon 1st use post install them behave like done like to the online version. Seriously!

Are you serious?
Worst app ever and that's saying something. It only breaks my heart that i have to give one star. All this is is a portal to a website. Looks nothing like the user interface in the app ad. Unless I'm missing something???
