UWACAM is the leading professional app for underwater photo and video, now available in Version 2.0
Designed for DIVEVOLK Seatouch cases and developed in collaboration with award-winning underwater cinematographer Matthias Lebo, this app is easy to use, featuring large, clear controls that enable effortless, stunning video and photo captures.
It is packed with professional features typically found in DSLR cameras, provides automatic UWACOLOR* processing for videos and photos either real-time or postprocessed to enhance colors in captures, supports LOG format for enhanced color grading, includes built-in color lookup tables (LUTs), and provides manual mode capturing, user presets, histogram, focus peaking, zebra, and much more.
Integrated Vizalyzer AI technology allows you to analyze your video and photo captures, retrieving valuable information on marine life forms (internet connection and subscription required)

Free download – no capture feature limitations. Subscribe to turn off watermarking for captures you make after subscribing (captures made without subscription have a permanent non-removable watermark imprinted) and to enable Vizalyzer AI image analysis.

• Automatic UWACOLOR color correction in PRO and AUTO mode: reengineered from the ground up, this fully automatic and dynamically adaptive color correction process enhances both color and contrast of your video and photo captures – either burnt-in real time during capture, or later on with processing directly in the app - also with 4k resolution, high frame rates and HDR/Rec.2020
• Vizalyzer Integration: leverage the AI power of Vizalyzer immediately after surfacing to analyze your captures. (Internet connection required; mobile data charges may apply.). Share your captures with detailed descriptions including species, habitat, behavior, and more.
• Magnifier for Macro Photography: the new magnifier feature lets you zoom into the central area of the preview for clearer close-ups
• Sleep Mode: Sleep mode has been added to conserve battery life. You can now set a delay for automatic sleep or manually initiate it from quick access, stopping the preview display and processing until you interact with the screen again
• Restructured Storage Management: UWACAM storage settings are now global across both PRO and AUTO modes, making management easier for users who switch between modes frequently. Storage settings have moved to the yellow (gear) tab, and while AUTO mode now offers a simplified view, advanced options are available when you switch to PRO mode
• Direct Capture Management: you can now view, share, and delete all captures directly within UWACAM - whether they are stored in-app, in Files or in the Photos Library, streamlining your workflow
• Social Media Sharing Enhancements: optionally enable share crop mode to automatically crop images to a 9:16 or 16:9 aspect ratio (depending on the original image) when using the share button. This helps you quickly optimize your images for social media sharing.
• Compact Online Help: UWACAM now includes compact online help. This provides quick access to function hints, and includes a link to the new quick reference manual to read when you’re online.
• Expanded News Management: the app news is now centralized in a dedicated news center. A color badge with a number signals available news, and a yellow exclamation mark indicates important updates
• Fading Main Buttons: the main buttons on the camera screen can now be set to fade after a period of inactivity, reducing on-screen clutter
• Rotating Overlays: overlays such as aspect ratio and safe area now rotate with the device display. Previous behavior can be configured in settings.
• SMPTE timecode: choose between off, record run, local time or UTC time to create a SMPTE timecode track with video captures
• Temperature alert: as device temperature rises, a thermometer is displayed in left side of info bar to indicate the thermal state of the device
• Many minor bug fixes and optimizations
