Отличное приложение, пользуюсь много лет и покупаю премиум. Но! Почему без танцев с бубном не оплатить премиум с карт РФ будучи в ЕС? Бот выкидывает только на оплату в евро и нет возможности выбрать другие варианты. И нет нормальной службы поддержки, на сайте тоже нет информации «если вы хотите оплатить картой РФ..». Ну е-мае, хочешь оплатить премиум так еще столько проблем.

Promoting ponzi schemes
Ponzi schemes are repeatedly showing up as promoted posts, with no ability to report or block them. Advertisements for genuine products or services are one thing, but if a site is pushing scam content, then I wouldn’t pay a cent to be ad-free, I’d just not use it.

Scammers paradise
Plenty of scammers on the app, and no way to report them or have the accounts banned as far as I can see. Even with the premium telegram I still am unable to do anything. I can’t find any technical support to help me. That’s why I’m giving one star, if I could I would give less.

Telegram used to be the cleanest messaging app out there while messenger viber and whatsapp were already full of bloat. Unfortunately tg gave in and started arbitrarily hiding features behind a paywall and doing everything they can to shove them in the user’s face. Its days are numbered now

Somewhat unusable on iPad
Looks like the developers aren’t using their own app on iPad with keyboard. The window won’t slide up when you start typing and the suggestions bar overlaps what you’re actually typing. Right click on a post leads to a mess when the context menu overlapped with emoji bar. Please fix that. It’s easy to see all the issues if you use your app for a day.

Good app, but notification badge icons don’t disappear if you get a direct message. Typically disappears after ~24 hours. Super annoying to constantly have a “new message” icon and no way to remove it.

Apple watch series 7 compatibility
Hi,
I’m using apple watch 7. There is an issue with the telegram app such that the app doesn’t open in apple watch. When I press the icon on apple watch, it opens but automatically closes in a second. So, it’s not possible to work with the app and see the messages on Apple Watch.

Privacy concerns
When I used telegram for the first time the app automatically (without my consent) informed everyone that had my phone number that I would be using telegram. Even though I denied access to my contacts. In addition to that a total stranger that had my number (probably from the previous user) suddenly appeared in my messages after this notification.
I find this highly dubious especially in the light of European GDPR.

I don’t seem to see pinned posts in a group anymore, I am an admin in the group, the other admins can see all the pinned posts and the members too. I just noticed this today. I have an iPhone. I have no clue where the problem is.

Apple is censoring content
I love using this app but the version provided from the App Store is censoring contents. I never thought Apple would participate in censorship and on the other hand they want to block Facebook from the App Store for human trafficking but is censoring content which helps bringing awareness to the people...
Guess it’s time to get rid of Apple devices.

The best messenger ever existed but there is one annoying thing
I really don’t like that chat folders are at the top, interface feels overfilled and sometimes you cant swipe chat to mark as read or archive it. Maybe you should add a toggle to put chat folders at the left as a separate screen, like when you turn on “filter by sender” in default messages app. “Edit” button can be put on next to the “new chat” button.

Do not use for serious business group
After working on building group over time, one day our group was deleted . Emails, messages, tweets...asking for assistance to fix or explanation what happened went on deaf ears. Completely ignored.
Use another instant messaging device for anything that is important that you need a reliable service for.
