The lady who runs this podcast is very well informed and the podcast reflects this. I like that its mostly just the facts and that she doesnt fly off on descriptive flights of fancy. She also covers a range of different disasters both well known ones and lesser known events. One of the better ones.

Disaster Area is a fascinating look into both famous and obscure disasters in world history, from sinking ships to building collapses and more. It's easy to listen to, the topics are very well researched and the host is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It is, as the host mentions, "a labour of love" and not a professional production, which means that it does miss a few points for the lack of editing, occaisonal moments where the host will hesitate or have to pause because of background noise, etc. However, for an amateur production I can't rate it highly enough!
